Dance of Flowers – Artistic creation for Weleda
Dance of Flowersis an artistic project imagined byJulien Nonnonfor the brandWeleda, blendingvisual art, dance, and floral poetry.
This creation explores the deep connection betweenbody, nature, and movement, resonating with the values of naturalness, harmony, and respect for life upheld by Weleda.
At the heart of the project, the flower becomes a living material, transformed by gesture and light.
A collaboration with dancer Isabelle Pollet-Villard
To give form to this vision,Dance of Flowerswas developed in collaboration with classical dancerIsabelle Pollet-Villard.
Her choreographic work, precise and organic, has anchored the creation in asensitive expression of movement, where the body becomes an extension of the plant.
Dance is not limited to interpretation: it structures the visual narrative and gives rhythm to the image, reinforcing the impression that the flowers themselves are dancing.

A work inspired by Loïe Fuller and the dance of the veils
The project draws its inspiration from the legacy ofLoïe Fuller, an iconic figure of modern dance, known for herdances with veilsand its innovative use of light.
InDance of Flowers, the veils become moving petals.
They draw fluid shapes in space, evoking growth, metamorphosis, and the ephemeral. The light accompanies these gestures, amplifying the sensation of lightness and transformation.
Filming and projections in the streets of Paris
The creation was filmed and thenprojected in the streets of Paris, embedding dance and the floral universe into the urban space.
The facades become living canvases, welcoming this luminous choreography in the heart of the city.
This confrontation betweendancing nature and Parisian architecturecreates a strong poetic contrast, where art emerges in the daily lives of passersby, with no boundary between stage and street.

A performance at Éléphant Paname
The project also led to aperformance atÉléphant Paname, an iconic venue dedicated to dance and artistic creation.
In this space,Dance of Flowerstook on an even more immersive dimension, allowing the audience to fully experience the encounter betweendance, image, and music..
This stage presentation enhanced the choreographic dimension of the project while maintaining its visual and sensory poetry.

A work in harmony with the Weleda universe
ThroughDance of Flowers, Julien Nonnon proposes a creation that goes beyond the simple image to become asensory experience, aligned with the universe of Weleda.
The flower is not decorative: it is alive, vibrant, in motion, reflecting the connection between humans and nature.
The project invites us to slow down, to observe, and to feel, making art anatural extension of care and well-being.
